With a voracious need to travel, explore and express herself through her music, Amy's raw, heartfelt lyrics and stirring melodies have gained her a global fan base, expanded further by her songs being regularly featured in hit TV shows, Documentaries and Feature Films.

Amy was born into a musical family in the wildly beautiful County of Cornwall, England. From a young age, Amy trained in classical dance and performed regularly in musical theatre. A growing passion for writing led her to study English Literature at University, gaining inspiration from the likes of Keats, Byron and Austen. With a rich tapestry of musical influences, ranging from Joni Mitchell to Michael Jackson, she soon began channeling her personal experiences into songs and, after graduating, took to the London music scene, performing her original material.

In 2007, Amy recorded her debut album Right Right Now, and in the years that followed, Amy May traveled extensively with her music, performing in Sydney, Dubai, Thailand, Fiji and throughout Europe. She is eternally grateful for her journey; 'I'm really excited to explore life through my music...I feel incredibly blessed every day I get to do this. I wouldn't trade it for anything.'

The self-taught guitarist made the move from England to Los Angeles in 2010 and recorded The Grace Sessions, which included the songs 'Real' and 'Open'. 'Open' went on to score the No. 1 spot in the Female Singer-Songwriter chart on the music discovery and MTV Partner 'Real' gained huge acclaim after featuring on the CW hit drama series 'One Tree Hill' in 2012.

Amy has since been gathering inspiration for her third studio album, refining her sound with award winning writers/ producers Ken Caillat (Fleetwood Mac, Colbie Caillat), Mike Krompass (Natasha Bedingfield, Nelly Furtado) and Pam Sheyne (Christina Aguilera, Corinne Bailey Rae). Giving a hint of what's to come, she describes her new material to be "..reflective of the duality of a woman's true nature - powerful, and yet also inherently vulnerable".

Amy May's music will no doubt continue to inspire fans worldwide to live with strength, courage and a heart wide open.
